We've recently found out that our favorite Japanese automaker has a vehicle eligible to win the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year Award and we couldn't be more excited! It's the new 2017 Honda Ridgeline and this pickup truck is sure to leave the competition in its dust.
We're even more excited about this year's awards specifically because of the new Utility category. Previously, minivans and SUVs were included in the Trucks category, making for some off combinations; now that they're in Utility, the Ridgeline and other competing trucks are all on equal ground.
There will be three rounds of judging before the finalists are announced, which will happen later this year in December, so keep tuned in to our blog for more details as they arise.
