If you’re a fan of motocross, you’ve likely attended—or dreamed of attending—a motocross event. Atlanta Supercross was the most recent of these. It was held at the Georgia Dome on February 27th, and brought thousands to see their favorite riders. There were lots of thrills and some spills to see.
Cole Seeley and Trey Canard, two riders for Team Honda HRC, experienced multiple mishaps during the event. Seeley finished in 10th place, after experiencing a few hits with other riders. Each one slowed him down and pushed him further away from first place.
After a poor start, Canard tried hard to regain time during the race. A fall during the eighth lap, however, pushed him back to the 20th position at one point. Additionally the bike’s front brake rotor was damaged during the fall. This impaired his ride for the rest of the race and he finished in 16th place.
Though both were disappointed, there is time in the series for both Seeley and Canard to experience great races. The next stop on the trip? Florida, where Team Honda HRC riders will compete in Daytona Supercross.
